COVID-19 is showing us humanity is only as strong as our weakest and that our global community depends on each other like never before. Here at the UN Foundation, we’ve always prioritized greater cooperation on global health. And that’s why it’s urgent we all stand strong and united now.

We need your support for our work to help the world #UniteforHealth – so we can all recover better.

When we unite for health, we can defeat new challenges like COVID-19, protect progress already made, and strengthen global health systems so they reach everyone everywhere fairly.

Why We Must Unite for Health

Seventy-five years ago, the UN was created so the world could work together to be a safer, fairer, healthier place for all. We’ve seen huge progress, but not for everyone. Now as COVID-19 is highlighting how health systems around the world are underprepared and unequal, it’s taking the biggest toll on people already marginalized and reversing decades of progress on health and well-being.

Donate today to #UniteforHealth so we can all recover better.

What can happen when we Unite for Health

By working together across communities and sectors, by leveraging science and proven solutions, and by putting equity at the heart of everything we do, we can overcome this pandemic, recover and build on progress already made, and create strong health systems that reach everyone everywhere fairly.

When we Unite for Health we:

  • Ensure equitable access to new COVID-19 tests, treatments, and vaccines through collective solutions like the ACT Accelerator; and publicly advocate for, and adopt, responsible, science-based policies and behavior to keep us all safe.
  • Protect progress we’ve already made by renewing and maintaining efforts to prevent and respond to diseases, and provide accessible, affordable quality health care for everyone everywhere.
  • Invest in strengthening health systems at community, national, and global levels that reach everyone everywhere fairly and underpin our shared global health security.
